Forensic Training Course
If you are looking for a new exciting career--here is your opportunity!!!!!!
This is a 1,300 power point slide program that teaches the considerations as to how they relate to the examination of reported stolen vehicles as to how they were last operated.
This information is very important when examining ignition locks, steering columns alarm and transponder systems.
For years, it was common to examine a reported stolen vehicle when recovered totally burned, just gather up all the burn debris on the driver's floor and send it to a lab. This was total destruction of the evidence because everything when burning and melting falls in layers. Layers of debris were not considered and this was done only for ignition lock analysis, which did not address if the column had been compromised before the fire. All that was deemed important was the condition of the ignition lock cylinder for tampering.
The steering column section deals with these issues showing what the specific components look like when exposed to fire and how to determine the last operation of the vehicle.
The vehicle fire training is very basic and deals with questionable vehicle fires and theft.
The alarm section is very comprehensive and explains how after market alarms work as well as remote start systems to determine if they were functioning properly.
The report writing section is very important. This gives the examiner the opportunity to realize how important the report context is. Although because most of these claims are at the threshold of preponderance because if they go to trial, they are under the civil threshold. On occasion though, these claims end up in criminal court in which the threshold is beyond any reasonable doubt. This means every statement you make must be substantiated. We teach that each report as well as the processes used can be fully supported under the criminal threshold.
We are also constantly updating this information because every year, there are major changes in designs of transponder systems.
This also gives the student the opportunity to see how reports by many of the insurance experts are not accurate and how their statements are made on assumption and not fact.
One such example would be; the expert may claim there were only two transponder keys from the factory supplied with the vehicle at the time of purchase. Can he prove how many keys were programmed to operate the vehicle? In many cases yes. Is this process commonly used? No. If a comprehensive examination is done on the vehicle and the use of the appropriate electronic equipment, it can be determined beyond a reasonable doubt as to how many correctly coded transponder keys were programmed to operate the vehicle beyond any reasonable doubt.
We have many of the "forensic" reports from the insurance experts revealing guess work and assumption on their part as well as destruction of evidence and even revealing that some do not retain the ignition lock they are testifying about.
What is important to note: This information is not meant to build a plaintiff expert to oppose insurance companies. This information is for anyone with automotive or locksmith experience to look beyond the locks and think outside of the box. If you see the current flaws in the reports put out by the insurance experts in enlightens the student to look at all examinations no matter who they are for, attorneys, law enforcement, insurance companies to approach all these examinations in an unbiased manner.
Currently, without the experience in theft methods, it appears the insurance expert assumes that once contacted by the insurance company on a vehicle, the claim must be fraud and he writes the report accordingly. If you can not prove it, you don't state it as fact. You do not confuse your opinion with fact, unless it can be substantiated.
I do not want to be misunderstood where people think I am out to get the insurance experts. People's lives are on the line here and although this may be a business, shortcuts cannot be taken. There are some out there that criticize me and suggest you don't buy this course or have anything to do with me. Those people are the experts I have opposed often and they have not been on the prevailing side.
You will see with this course that everything makes perfect sense because it is common sense.
If you want to learn about this industry and want to excel above the others, you need this course.

The way that these examinations and reports are being commonly performed thought the industry does not require the specialized knowledge that the experts lead you to believe is involved. This is your opportunity to do much better than what is currently out the by what they call themselves "Legitimate Forensic Examiners."
